Dear HSBBW member:
The High School Baseball Web remains committed to making life somewhat better for baseball players, fans, coaches, and umpires whose lives are affected by issues. Baseball issues. Aggravating baseball issues.
Through our "Seam to Care" outreach program, we have been able to make a frequently positive impact on the lives of HSBBW members scattered to and fro across our warming/cooling globe. Baseball issues can be very pri¢kly and we stand by (mostly sit by) our commitment to the High School Baseball Web community who are being affected, just short of torment, with these terribly frustrating issues.
A few of our chest protector thumping accomplishments over the past year include:
· Dozens and dozens of bewildered baseball souls were pitched the best stuff by dedicated and highly experienced baseball veterans. Just ask 'em!
· Scads and scads of 2¢ opinions offered totalling nearly 50 bucks!
· A taste of our success? One member, Needin'_2_Eat, was successfully directed to Make Mine Ribz! in Pine Tar Bluff by our automated and very popular "Pick Your Taste Then Pick Your Teeth" grub line.
· Here's another. When his son was suffering from withdrawal (too little playing time), HeeDaBest was directed to utilize our twelve week series: "Pump Up the Passion...Prance to the Plate". Thirteen weeks later it could then be reported that father and son are talking with each other. Next milestone? Riding in the same car to the field! A real sweet success story!
Our work is only possible with the assistance of generous donations from other HSBBW members within our tightly wound community. Without donations from supporters such as yourself, the people who benefited from our services last year would have been left to face their debilitating baseball challenges all alone. It is our belief that every troubled member dealing with these deserves the support that we are ready and willing to sling at them.
