I'm throwing bp to my Legion team(1979) before a big game... winner goes to state. We are at our home field; everything is going along great.
One gets away from me and hits my 2b in the ribs; it was a pretty soft throw, but he kind of goes down awkwardly.. then gets up but steps out of the cage and tells the next guy to go...
A couple of minutes later he is sitting off to the side holding his neck and acting kind of weird.
A few minutes later he's still not acting right; his big brother (a guy I played ball with and really good friend of mine) sees that his little bro is having a problem. He talks to him for a minute and I approach and big bro tells me my 2b is feeling really sick...
Here is what happened: As he was flinching to move away from the inside pitch; he pinched a nerve in his neck. At the same time his cup also pinched his testicle and it went up into his stomach. 24 hours later he was feeling fine but man did he have a bad 2 seconds or what?
