Just looked at my son's schedule that has been updated based on postponements and he now has a stretch of 10 games in 15 days.
My son's league also plays back-to-back games if they play the same opponent twice during the league season. Do many other places do that?
We play either 2 or 3-game series with the teams in our conference. The conference is divided in half, so we play the teams in our section 3 times and the teams in the other section twice. For the 3-game series, those games are scheduled on M, W and F. For the 2-game series, there is usually one day separating them, so either M and W or W and F. All of our opponents are within a 30-minute drive, so travel is not really an issue in scheduling. Being from one of the wetter states, I am surprised that we have more games than TX.
