The boy decided to transfer to Belmont for his final two years of eligibility. Nothing negative about GW and no bad vibes from them. He had a very good visit and follow up conversations with the staff. His decision to go to Belmont was based on familiarity (coaches have known him and he has known them for a while), a good level of ball for him, the opportunity to reunite with two former summer ball teammates, and being back in the southeast with better weather.
I really appreciate all the good responses. Thank you!

@TEXAS1836 Congrats to your son and the family. Belmont had very low turnover in 2022.
