Greenies "some pill pros take"

I heard from a player on my highschool team about a pill similar to that of speed that pro's take before games.....I went to my pitching coach and asked him if theses so called "Greenies" were existent and he confirmed it and said they were widley used amongst pro players.....sooo i am like what in the world is happeneing to pro baseball man....they take pills similar to speed???? and you've got older athletes on roids jacking balls out of the park...well excuse me they are actually legal roids...they combine legal substances to get the effect of illegal steroids. So anyway have any of you guys heard of these "Greenies" also????
