Speaking of myths, a word on hitting with an L screen.

If 10 degrees is the optimum line drive swing angle, and 20 degrees is optimum home run swing angle (see Sports Science above at 1:18), then you should be hitting the ball just over the L screen (back at the pitcher's hand), not even with his hip.
