Reply to "High School Player Gives Up Senior Year"

He turned 18 in September so he's a relatively old HS player. There are a lot of ballplayers younger than him who finished their HS senior season last year and are already part way through their college freshman year. Guess I don't see what the big deal is?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe bbscout's son didn't turn 18 until November of his freshman year. That's more impressive to me than a kid who turns 18 in September of what will be his freshman year.
