What a wonderful story!

My nephew begins his own adventure on April 22 as he takes his oath and heads off to Air Force boot camp.

I think as the day approaches, the feelings get more intense.

I was able to attend one of my son's baseball games recently. It was a beautiful day as we rose for the National Anthem. I know people may have been wondering as my face was dampened by tears as I stared at the American Flag stretched out for all to see in the strong winds. The strength and courage of all our service personnel is truly humbling for us that watch at home and benefit from their sacrifice. We are so blessed and must never take for granted these honorable men and women who serve their country and fellow Americans.
