Cowboy, My son is a JUCO sophomore and he too has aspirations like you to play D1 ball. However, his coach like yours seems very level headed and has advised him that playing at competitive D2's and NAIA's, etc. are just as exciting and fun.
Go out there this spring and play your heart out. Pitch like you've never pitched before and let your game be what speaks for you. I promise that these JUCO coaches get calls on a weekly basis by 4yr schools asking what they have.
