My 8th grader's summer team is really just getting started; we've had awful weather for two solid weeks, and have played only three league games so far.

He was just asked to play with the high school JV summer team in addition to his 14U team. The high school has a great BB program (state champs last year, headed into state playoffs this year) and so it is quite a compliment to be asked as an 8th grader to be on JV.

In his game Friday night he just missed his first home run - hit it high off a 325 foot fence.
