I had to look it up: son played 119 games and had 454 at bats from last February to August. Quite a bit more than the 20 game high school season in our area.

Like Corn said above, you have to love it. Everyday, love it. It's a grind.

I bought Steve Springer's CDs one year as a stocking stuffer. Here is a link. He used to post on the boards here a while back:
