Wow 119 pitch count with only 3 days rest...I was wrong there is someone with worse rules than WV 110 3 days! Why even have a rule If a kid can throw that many pitches 2x in a week?

I think sometimes it's the only rule it that can get passed.  Once it's there, the number can be moved down.

Especially for JV.  GA may allow JV to throw 90, but the HC of Varsity has said no 9th or 10th grader will throw over 80, but V is allowed to throw the 110.

GA also changes the pitch count rule for the playoffs so a kid can throw 110 pitches in a three game series. The series format is a double header the first day and the “if” game the next day.

So, technically, a kid can throw 90 pitches one day and come back the next and throw 20.

Yes, CACO, I am still bitter because that rule probably costed us a state ‘ship. LoL

Well, yeah, um....he graduated, does that help?

We’ll see...but I’m sure his now current pitching coach was happy about it. <———— #sarcasm :-)

I'm pretty sure the Georgia Tech HC was there watching.  *Shrug*
