Maybe he’s putting too much pressure on himself in showcases.

Scouts/evaluators don’t always look at results. As a hitter, the goal is consistent hard contact once that happens it’s out of your control whether it’s caught or not.

If schools have seen him multiple times, I think the body of work will trump showcase results.
