Two years at a JuCo seemed to be an excersize in socialism --- things came back with him I'd never seen, things I sent were missing. Didn't seem to be much personal ownership going on.

Then, after two summers spent in Europe with just a suitcase, he figured out he really didn't need much in the way of "stuff". Being the practical sort, his "needs" list to Mom for the Fall Term was 80% groceries!
