Thank you for the great reminders about this game and the senior year in particular. Glad to hear your son is having a great season, even with ups and downs, as he continues to lead and enjoy his team.
It reminded me that our "Senior night" is next week. 80% of the team are seniors so the ceremony is being held after the game instead of before (last year there were 3 and it went pretty quickly) because it may take awhile. My son is one of four underclassmen, so I'm coordinating the event for his 'mates and their families. It should be a special night, and we look forward to next years as well, when my son will be playing in his last HS games. He will greatly miss his senior buddies, that he's been playing with (and behind, they were a couple years ahead of him all throughout little league!) for a long time, through junior high and high school.
Now though it's time to focus on the end of the season and the playoffs!
