Goveman although I respect you for your opinion, I did not ask for it. The policy is basically disability insurance.
I think any player that knows for sure that he is going to be a multi-millionaire in the June Draft and could afford the premium would be nuts not to purchase the insurance. The Policy doesn't cover you if you don't get drafted in a ceartin round. It covers you in case you get injured and are not able to play. Therefore, your college scholarship would be irrelevant also.
I know Rodriquez purchased the insurance and I know Lienart has. I'm not saying nor do I think at this point that my son will go high enough to stay out of college. I just cover my bases and like to be educated about the options.
