Is it Too late for a Scholarship?

my son graduated High school this past june? Is it too late to try for a baseball scholarship? he is a pitcher and a good hitter-we have played travel ball for years as well as school ball. I thought his HS Coach was going to help? but didn't. Any advice would be great?
