Its BRAGGING time again for Grandpop! About a week ago I found out that Jamie had made 1st team All Conference pitcher, (lefty) and also 1st team center-fielder and ALSO the POY, Player of Year for the conference! (will post it when its in the newspaper) Now...the State Playoffs start Tues., Jamie's team is NOT a strong team, rated #9 in the state...they are playing a team rated #8 in the state BUT...I think they can beat them and hope they start the #2 pitcher and (luckily, if they win) Jamie would pitch against the #1 team in the state. As they say, and I have said many times: "good pitching will beat good hitting"...if he wins...great, if not then I'm back to reality!Its been a great ride, I'll keep you posted.[QUOTE] No coach has ever won a game by what he knows; it's what his players know that counts.
