plp556: Perhaps your pitcher was verbalizing his frustration at letting up a hit more than he wae criticizing you. It's obvious that you know what you're doing and you're a decent player. You shared with us that you also pitch and because you have the insight of an outfielder you would not criticize an outfielder while you are pitching. You know both positions and you are wise not to criticize others, unlike your pitcher in your recent game. Does this pitcher also play other positions,especially the outfield? If he is only a pitcher does he defend the position well? The intent of my questions are for you to assess the pitchers capabilities. If the answer is no to both questions then consider the source and do your best as you did in the game. If the answer is yes to each question then maybe there is something he can personally teach you from him playing that position. Either way he was out of line in the way he yelled out to you. One thing is clear from his comments...he thinks you're Jesus Christ!
