Callaway - thanks for the elaboration there. Since I live by Innocent Bystander, I didn't get it either. I was inquiring in another thread about a guy who's son is in 7th grade and he was trying out for the HS team. I was flabbergasted. I still find it hard to believe that in places like San Diego and down in your neck of the woods (loaded with baseball talent) they'd bring 7th and 8th graders into the mix of the HS programs.
