I thought I'd stay and watch a Saturday morning basketball practice at school (7th grade) this year. My son came strolling by and without looking AT me said through clenched teeth, "dad, WHAT ARE you doing? GO HOME!!"
Seriously!! It was still 5 minutes before practice started.

A few other dads were there and the coach said we were welcome to watch.
Well, I've learned to PICK my battles and I was pretty sure that wasn't one of them so I left!
