He's already committed to Lamar CC for next year and immediately got a good D2 offer and one D1 offer when he went into the portal. However, the problem with going straight to another D1 is that he'd have to sit a year and, because he red-shirted this year, he'd only had three years of eligibility after that. But, if the right offer came...

I guess what I was wondering is if he should be proactive now in pushing himself to D1's for transferring out of JC after next season. The JC coach already understands it's only going to be one year there.
