@adbono posted:I agree. That should be standard operating procedure before attending any event. But from time to time I see comments asking about JuCo events - where they are and how to find them, etc. So I’m posting as I see them. These events are used for recruiting and the better players almost always receive offers as a result of attending. You are right that you should know who you want an offer from (and who you don’t) before you attend. But these events are good opportunities to be seen by schools that are in your geographical area
@adbono I'm not challenging your post, we are totally in sync. I'm just putting a reminder in student athlete (families) ear to walk through in the mind the process.
As you are aware post summer ball student-athletes and families like clock work are in scramble mode.
As you've seen on x (formerly twitter), prospect camps are increasing like weeds.
Note, when a JUCO event invites class of 2027, I personally scratch my head.
Removing all emotions:
Regardless of the event, if the student has a interest of moving to a 4 yr school, the student athlete (family) must first review the school's pipeline, as for it points out the coaches network, how he develops players, etc.
Note, depending on the school, their website's Move-On page (if available), is not as up-to-date as needed to understand its success in moving players.

It is all about informing and educating the next group of student athletes, and hopefully save them time and money
Here is another dashboard they should be using to understand the turnover rates of JUCO programs
