I think you're right. They've got a value log-jam at those positions. Why not move some pieces to plug areas of need and get more competitive? KC is looking up in the division at Chicago, and trying to slug it out with 4 others who have added talent to their rosters. AL Central is a tough, tough division to get ahead in right now.
