1) Yes - the arguement here is "how many LH catchers do you see in college or pro ball". None so why hinder a guy's chance to move on by playing him in a position he cannot excel at the next level. Every game at catcher is a game he could be playing first, OF or pitching where he has a chance to move on.

2) Only in some sort of emergency and even then he would be a last resort.

3) It doesn't matter because of what redbird5 said and it's not going to happen.
