Other thing is pitchers in general do not like to throw to lefty catchers, I know I didn't like it. If you wonder why, its because you spend your whole baseball career throwing to a right handed catcher and all of a sudden you are throwing to a lefty. Too me it was visual and I had enough to think about when I was pitching.
