Reply to "Linder is soooooo strong ..."

That's why they call it 'early bat speed' folks.  Bat speed is generated before he started dropping his knees and throwing his hands. Most of it is generated by 'hip/elbow slot'. 

The speed didn't reach it's full potential since he pushed his hands, but it was enough to hit a HR up a few rows in RF.

Most kids and HS players don't have early bat speed. 

(also, if you look at dominick's 4th image, he doesn't actually drop to his knees until AFTER he hit the ball. Plus he wasn't 'out on his front foot' like the announcer said - his torso 'stayed back' nicely)
