NOTE: Local flavor to great D1 TV doubleheader today.

Freshman phenom Connor Powers (Benet) and a very good Mississippi State team face off against #2 South Carolina this afternoon on Direct TV Channel #631(2PM).Powers has made his presence felt in the SEC with a .338 batting average, 5HR and 15 RBI.

Sophomore Ruairi O'Connor (OPRF) and the # 1 Florida State Seminoles will follow that game (@5PM) VS Boston College. O'Connor is at .327 with 7 doubles and 13 RBI for the ACC Division leaders.

BC's Ted Ratliff of Crystal Lake (Central) is the only other Illinois player in these 2 games. Ratliff is a senior and has a 5.40 ERA in 4 appearences this year.
