Okay, great topic PG. Completely leaving BA out of it and only focusing on OBP. Wouldn't you have to factor in the OBP of balls put into play, versus a "hit" on the 50/50 pitch, and weigh the balls put in play % against the take %? Make sense?

Or maybe just consider the defense's fielding % as part of the decision making process
