Actually the LR at $150 and the free Summer Rivalry Classic and Area Code Tryouts are light years ahead of ALL paid showcases including Top96, Perfect Game, Bobby Valentine, Headfirst, etc etc because someone else has done most of the weeding out forthe scouts and coaches. We just had a coach tell us that they were sending a ooach to watch because of the calibre of competition he will be up against.

The challenge with these is to get a Major League scout to notice you and get an invite. Ways to do that include attending a clinic they may be running, attending an MLSB or pro team tryout, or just getting in touch with one and asking if he can watch your son and evaluate his talent.

Then ask for a recommendation or ask the event organizer to speak to scout so and so to evaluate your request for an invite.

Of course if you have earned an All State type nod that should get you in as well.
