This may well be her only year for glory. Savor it. It is good that her parents are aware of that. Maybe she is proficient in tennis, golf, swimming, music, academics, etc. which will give her glory in a different sphere.
As to this baseball year, since girls mature about a year earlier than boys, she has the same advantage of male early bloomers. She would most likely suffer the same fate in baseball as her curerntly advanced male counterparts next year. She has the advantage of it being socially acceptable to play softball. Maybe not as a pitcher, maybe F4. Time will tell.
But for now, savor the moment.
