Maintaining Velocity After a Velo Program

Tried resurrecting this in an older thread, but no responses so I'll try a new topic.  For those who have done weighted ball programs and have seen a velo increase, what sustainability did that velo have outside of the the weighted ball program?  During regular season throwing did you see a drop in velo or was it sustained by regular practices, bullpens, etc?  2018 is looking to start drivelines free 8 week program.
