Masculine Discussion of Men's Movies by Manly Men...

Gentlemen:

As a service to my fellow man, I would like to suggest a few movies that can be viewed and used to defend your home from an estrogen onslaught whenever your wife, girlfriend, concubine, et. al. considers hosting a Pampered Chef party or asks you to help them make cranberry topiary trees for Christmas. I submit to you the following films for your perusal:

Big Jake, The Cowboys, Rooster Cogburn or any film starring John Wayne: - John Wayne is the patron saint of men. period. I named my son Jacob, in honor of Jacob McCandles.

The Longest Day: - D-Day was agruably one the most manly invasion in history, defiantly in the top 5 Manly Military Campaigns of all time. A must see for the hunter/gatherer in all of us.

Fandango: - Women have Thelma and Louise, men have Fandango. One of my all time favorites. Anyone who would get into an airplane with Truman Sparks is a man's man.

Jeremiah Johnson: - Robert Redford as a mountain man, thats the epitome on manly. Anyone that would ask the question, "Do you know where I can find beaver, bear, and other critters that are worth cash money when skint?" is a man's man's - man's man.

Death Hunt: - starring Charles Bronson, Lee Marvin and Carl Weathers. A definate first ballot Man's Movie Hall of Fame film. What could be more manly than a manhunt through the Canadian wilderness??? only John Wayne could answer that.
