You have lost all credibility with me. There is NO WAY you scout for any MLB team after having said that. I doubt that matters since 99 is so commonplace.

My point is that there are many people out there who can TOUCH 99 but cannot CRUISE at 99 while still maintaining control. Instead, they have to back off a few MPH in order to be able to command their FB (and throw strikes).

The video of this kid suggests that while he may be able to TOUCH 99, he CRUISES at 92 or 93. That is above average, but very different than CRUISING at 99.
