A 2022 buddy/teammate of my 2021 son committed to Mizzou in mid/late August of this year. It caught everyone here by surprise except for the kid and his family. He had a really good summer with his bat and apparently Mizzou was watching at the right time. I wish the kid the best, but I've never considered him a D1 caliber player let alone an SEC D1 caliber player. If you believe the messaging the kid and family are putting out, he's getting a full ride and they 're interested in him at C, 3B and/or 1B. But considering he runs a 7.7 60, I can't imagine any of those are an option for him at an SEC program. Would an SEC team even allow a 7.70 kid to DH?
