The incidents spurred on by the administration and faculty in 2015 has had a long lasting negative effect on Mizzou. Regionally there are many choices for D1 athletes that don't include the politics that Mizzou encouraged at the time and still lingers. The boys that I know that are committed, are going to schools without the additional drama. Arkansas and Missouri State have benefitted from the circus that Mizzou created. It's unfortunate, but alumni that I know have stopped donating and have relinquished their support for the university. I personally don't have a problem with the university as I have a 16 year old taking dual credit courses through Mizzou, but they kind of shot themselves in the foot.

Is this really the case? How many regional choices include competing in the SEC? One?

I have a hard time believing athletes with offers are staying away from a premier P5 conference to attend SLU and Missouri State. Especially considering the fact that these kids who are committing there now were in elementary school in 14/15.
