Scouts will carefully and repeatedly watch any player who emerges as a 1st or 2nd Round possibility, at any level. But they are there just to watch that player or players. They aren’t (usually) just watching random games “hoping to find a Diamond in the rough”. That’s fantasy/Hollywood stuff.
