MLB steroid policy has holes...

Did Selig mislead the baseball community?

According to ESPN, in reviewing initial documentation provided by MLB, Congress has discovered that MLB's tougher steroid policy may not have the bite we were lead to beleive. Selig has stated that under the new policy 1st time offenders would get a 10 day suspension and names of offenders would become public. However, draft actually reads that 1st time offenders would get "a 10 day suspension OR a maximum fine of $10,000"

Don't recall MLB ever mentioning the option to fine and not suspend.
