Muhl Bag (or similar) worth the cost?

Does anyone have experience with the Muhl bag or a similar hitting aid?

I know that a bad swing won't be corrected, but does this kind of aid really help in developing power by swinging through?

It appears they have a 7.5 and 9.5 lb. bag. Which would you suggest for a 17 year old?
