Sultan, I can appreciate your concern for the lack of the usual heavy influence of west coast teams. I think I can put your mind at ease, though. Just glance at the recent thread that breaks down the MLB draft players by home state... California by a HUGE margin.

Ribbing aside, it is nice to see two finalist rosters full of players from the non-sunbelt states, particularly Virginia's. Makes for a strong case in the argument that if you can play, you can play, no matter where you are from.

Charlottesville and Nashville aren't exactly in the snow belt. The average high for March in Charlottesville is 58. In April it's 69. For Nashville it's 61 and 71.
