My daughter plays hockey and will graduate a year from now. She has a Covid year and a redshirt year from a torn ACL. She will enter the hockey portal in August for the 24/25 season and will have 2 years to play in grad school should she choose to pursue that option. Has loved her experience as a student athlete at her current school. I am guessing that some of these situations are similar. She has teammates that have graduated the last 2 seasons and have/are playing 5th years at Vermont, Syracuse, Maine, UConn, and others.
