Sanders had a bonus clause in his contract that was tied to ticket sales/attendance. It appears that Jackson State my have gotten shady to avoid paying the bonuses. Jackso State is denying this, of course. But I believe Sanders is more honest that the university administration at Jackson State - or anywhere else for that matter. Also, Sanders owes half of the 300k for leaving before the end of his contract - not all of it
