IMO, any mention of NIU's offense should include Scott Simon. Last year's Collegiate Baseball freshman all-american isn't suffering from a sophmore slump by leading NIU's offense in BA, hits, doubles, RBI's and is second in slugging %. His 49 RBI's are just eight shy of NIU's single season record of 57. I also read where Scott will be playing up in the Alaskan league this summer. Keep up the good work Scott!
