Why is a Dad in the stands telling a HS player what to do while dad is in the stands and the player is on the field?

How as a Dad close enough to hear what the coach was saying to the player in the dugout?

Coach offers to speak if you call-- PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL HIM !!!!
