Well, we survived the weekend....arrived in Long Beach just in time for record heat!!

Shed a couple of tears on the drive down Friday due to emails received from friends sending well wishes but left this morning in good spirits seeing that our little boy (all 6'2" of him) will soon become a young man.

Already received two phone calls from him....one complaining that his classes tomorrow are on opposite ends of campus and that he was on his way to a bar-b-que on campus...and the second for help on how to set up his bluetooth headset.

No signs of being homesick yet.
