I was there last year and it was really not an issue getting tickets day of at the box office at the stadium. We were there toward the last week though so there were less teams in it at that time.

What kind of dining are you looking for? Downtown Omaha is a pretty cool place(as far as any place in Nebrask being cool) and there are tons of restaurants all over the place and most reasonably priced.
