Your son's path includes elements that so many players encounter; although I must say that he's experienced more than the usual share of them in a relatively short period of time.
As you so faithfully and vividly reveal, your son's experience has caused him to grow into the individual that he has become; the one who will prosper from the lessons he's learned in the course of going through it. I'm not going to wish him luck because with the life lessons he's picked up, there's little likelihood that he'll need it. He'll make his "luck," as they say.
