Just wanting him to stay swinging throughout the summer. The coach will be giving us a summer plan, just wanted him to have the opportunity to pick up some games here and there if they were available close by us. We live outside the DFW area and aren't wanting something with lots of pressure and commitments because I want him to enjoy his summer before the grind starts, he on the other hand won't probably see it that way. He doesn't know how to just play for "FUN". He's always played summer ball and I thought he wouldn't want to, but one of the first things once our season ended was where am I going to play this summer? My answer...don't you want to rest? His response.. well no I wanna play...it's what I love. As far as in shape...he's built like an ox. Loves the gym and track. Wish that were my problem.
No he's not a catcher, but has played every position on the field during his HS years.
