RHP Phil Humber pitched 6 solid innings tonight for St Lucie Mets. Coach Gary Carter and Coach Ricky Bones seemed very pleased with his work on bump tonight in front of several thousand rip-roaring "Friday Night" dedicated Metsie

fans. Phil the Deal yielded no earned runs with a few scattered hits.

His fastballs were 90-94MPH cruising even though he touched 95 several times with 93MPH FBs in his last inning of work(6th). CBs very effective in 80MPH range with good pitchability. Mechanics were solid and I can tell somebody has worked long and hard with this fine looking prospect with much potential.

Worthy of Mention here because of TX interests who requested this report which I am happy to give for those folks back home. Peace, Shep
