As a former Marylander I'd recommend JHU (duh) as well as two schools on the Eastern Shore, both with good baseball programs, Salisbury U. and Washington College. I had several friends go to WC back in the day and really enjoyed visiting them. Chestertown is sleepy town but very sweet. Ditto for SU. Bigger school. Nice campus. Close -- but not too close -- to the beach. Good academics. Formerly a "teachers college", and still strong for education programs. One of my sisters got her nursing degree there. Though not very far south, this area is a good bit warmer than eastern PA.
